     Title: Heliview Ohakune is born

As of June 2009 we will be flying from Ohakune Airfield during the winter months. We will be offering several flight options over the central North Island, including Mt Ruapehu, Mt Ngauruhoe and Mt Tongariro. Experience the spectacular views of the Tongariro Crossing, Lord of the Rings (LOTR) film sites and the Emerald Lake from the helicopter. There is also a sightseeing option of the middle reaches of the Whanganui River, including the Bridge to Nowhere, the Valley of Abandoned Dreams, the Whanganui National Park and the settlement of Jerusalem.
