60 Minute FlightsOur 60min flight really allows us to tailor the flight to your requirements. We include an "off-base" landing allowing you to stretch your legs and take in the fantastic scenery from the ground, often with the possibility of a coffee or even lunch. Some ideas...Take your time to explore all of Mt Taranaki and the Egmont National Park, then fly the length of the Stony River for a landing at the estuary or at the nearby Cape Egmont. Returning via the coast over the famous surf beaches. We can take in the beauty of Mt Taranaki, then fly inland along the famous Forgotten World Highway for a coffee at Whangamomona Hotel - the most remote Country Hotel in New Zealand, on State Highway 43 (Forgotten World Highway). Beautiful rugged countryside, spectacular scenery and rich history. Or we could drop in at Mount Damper Falls: a short walk from the landing site reveals one of the highest waterfalls in the North Island. It's a spectacular sight - particularly after heavy rainfall. The falls are surrounded by native bush and spill over a horseshoe-shaped papa bluff. Jill and Ron at White Cliffs Organic Brewery just north of Urenui are always welcoming and happy to show you round their award-winning organic brewery and let you taste their many creations. They also offer platter lunches in their beautiful garden setting. Or we could take you for a tour of the Tawhiti Museum (north of Hawera) for an authentic glimpse of the past - life-sized exhibits and scale models. Truly fascinating. Then of course we have miles of beautiful coastline and a landing at the Stony River estuary - one of our favourite spots - especially at sunset! Maybe to propose to that special person in your life?
