We're really pleased to announce that we've purchased a Bell LongRanger. This 7-seat helicopter has a well earned reputation of being very safe and reliable. This helicopter has air-conditioning / heating, comfort leather seating, and noise cancelling "Bose" headsets. The sleek lines of this helicopter look fantastic in Heliview's paint scheme.

One of the rear doors opens double-fold to allow easy access to the back. This is particularly useful for disabled and elderly passengers as it allows extra room to manoeuvre. We also have a ramp to aid passengers embark and disembark from the helicopter.

When providing back-up medical services to the Taranaki Rescue Helicopter Trust, the wide door is very useful when flying injured passengers. The two seats on this side of the helicopter are removed and replaced with a stretcher for air ambulance work, allowing easy access for flight nurses and ground ambulance staff.
